Facebook is rolling out new features for Mother’s Day, including one to send your mom flowers via its chat application Messenger. Facebook is reportedly testing a new flower reaction that will be rolled out on International Mother’s Day.
The company has added a new flower button which appears next to the text messaging box. The icon animates your message with flowers. The flower animation also extends to photos and GIFs.
Facebook is also bringing new Mother’s Day themed stickers to its messaging platform. The stickers can be downloaded here.
While Messenger has already got its taste of Mother’s Day themed updates, Facebook is reportedly getting new ‘thankful’ reaction which resembles the flower seen in Messenger now.
Reports indicate the thankful reaction is temporary and will only be available on Mother’s Day. Facebook already offers an option to set temporary profile picture and now it probably will unveil temporary reactions starting from Mother’s Day.
