Asus Transformer 3 Pro
Asus has expanded its laptop series with the addition of three new laptops -- ZenBook 3, Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3. The company launched the laptops at Zenvolution event at the ongoing Computex 2016 trade show.
According to the company, AsusZenBook 3 is thinner than MacBook Air. It comes equipped with the world's thinnest fan at 3mm and has a 12.5-inch display.
Asus has launched two variants of Zenbook 3. Priced at $1,999, laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, packs 1GB RAM and offers 1TB PCIe x4 SSD support. The laptop's Core i5 variant with 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD comes with a price tag of $999. It features a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 panel and promises to deliver up to 9 hours of battery backup. It also features a golf backlit keyboard and will come in Royal Blue, Quartz Grey, Rose Gold colour options.
Coming to Asus Transformer 3 Pro, the hybrid laptop is said to be thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The laptop is priced at $999 and features Harman Kardon audio with dual-front speakers for enhanced audio experience. The laptop sports a 12.6-inch display and is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor. It offers 1GB RAM, 1TB SSD support, 13MP rear camera, USB and HDMI ports.
The company has also incorporated a stylus with the device and has quad-speaker support powered by Harman Kardon. The laptop has a fingerprint sensor and Windows Hello biometric authentication support. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD support. Priced at $799, it promises to deliver 9 hours of battery backup.
Along with the laptops, the company also showcased Transformer Mini, claimed to be the world's lightest 2-in-1 PC. It sports a 10.1-inch display and claims to deliver 11 hours of battery backup. Asus Transformer Mini provides a complete Windows 10 experience with features including Office Mobile, Cortana, and Windows Hello.
